Resources for Connecting Churches and Music Ministers

The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina has two primary resources for connecting churches and music ministers. The Sharing System is an automated database that assists ministers and churches across the country. The Music and Worship Team Ministry Connection is a personal interaction where Music and Worship Team Members assist potential ministers and churches specifically in the areas of music and worship. 1. The BSCNC Sharing System
Finding: A New Minister ... A New Ministry is a matching service provided by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The service matches ministers with ministries who are looking to fill open positions.

This service allows ministers to submit information about their skills and experience and allows churches to submit information about ministry positions available. Ministers and ministry positions are then matched based on the information submitted. Churches may then choose to contact potential ministers they are interested in.

This system is recommended as a first step for those interested in serving in a NC Baptist church in the areas of music and worship. Click here to enter the Sharing System.

2. The Music and Worship Team Ministry Connection
The Music and Worship Team is committed to assisting potential ministers of music find ministry positions in NC Baptist churches. The Music and Worship Team is also committed to assisting NC Baptist churches find candidates for open ministry positions.

 

To help connect potential ministers with churches, the Music and Worship Team asks that ministers complete a confidential Minister Form and submit a resume and picture. Churches searching for a minister in the areas of music and worship fill out a similar Church Form. When we see an appropriate match, we will send churches information on potential candidates for ministry positions.

Note that those who submit their information to the Music and Worship Team will be contacted by Dan Ridley, Music and Worship Team Leader, within a few days.

Confidentiality Statement: Information shared with the Music and Worship Team will be shared for the sole purpose of connecting ministers with churches. Otherwise, information will be kept strictly confidential.
